BS Foundation, in association with Gandhi Smriti & Darshan Samiti, organized the “Be the Change – Stree Udyamita Samman” and “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao” campaign to empower women and raise awareness on critical issues. The event took place at Raj Ghat, Delhi and included a Seminar & Women Achiever Awards.
Event Highlights:
- Seminar & Discussion: Focused on gender equality, women’s education, health issues, and the need for safety in public transport and women’s safety cells.
- Women Achiever Awards: Felicitating outstanding women from various fields such as business, entertainment, hospitality, literature, and those working towards caring for the underprivileged and empowering women.
- Skill Development Training: Provided training in self-defense, security guard services, and driving for women, empowering them with employable skills.
- Counseling & Awareness: Discussions on key issues such as women’s rights, employability, and medical aid, aiming to create a more secure and equitable environment for women.
Key Objectives:
- Raise awareness on gender equality, women’s health, and safety.
- Empower women through self-defense training, security guard, and female driver programs.
- Provide a platform to recognize and celebrate the achievements of outstanding women in various sectors.
This initiative aimed to inspire and motivate women, fostering empowerment through education, skill-building, and equal opportunities.
